A series of classes for anyone who wants to strenghten their relationship with their child, decrease problem behaviors, and teach and reinforce new skills.
The emotional regulation group is a 20 week group based on the therapeutic modality DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). The Group is designed to teach tools and skills to empower clients to be functioning “effectively” in other areas of their lives.
A Group for parents and their teens. As a parent, you want your teen to be able to create and maintain healthy relationships with others. Teens with ASD may need extra support to understand how to maintain healthy and appropriate relationships. Click link for detailed flyer.
Life in “Bits” is a group that teaches children valuable life skills as well as computer programming skills using bitsbox coding. This group is offered for children with ASD ages 12-15 years old. May 22nd-August 21st. Click the link for more information and how to register.
Our sibling support group provide the opportunity for siblings of children with special needs a change to engage with other children who have similar experiences. It will provide them the opportunity to discuss the challenges and rewards of having a sibling with special needs, engage in fun activities that build self esteem, encourage discussion and give them a fun interactive morning. For siblings ages 6-11 years old.
Through discussion, cooperative activities, therapeutic games, art, and social play, our groups teach skills to assist children and teens.
